H, my name is Ahi Ajayan! I was born in Albany, New York but moved to Houston when I was around 4 years old. I am classically trained in Indian Carnatic music which I have been learning since I was 3 years old. From 2013-2015 I moved to India to pursue Indian music along with a very renowned teacher in Chennai named Suguna Varadachari. I am currently learning from Suguna Varadachari as well as Palai C.K. Ramachandran who is a direct disciple of Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. I am also currently a playback singer with two hit songs!

In December 2023, Ahi received the coveted "Best Debut Singer" Award at the renowned Mazhavil Music Awards for her hit song, Kannilu Kannilu. She also was one of many performers that night alongside greats like Chitra and Shankar Mahadevan!
